How to Use the Section on Control Measures for Insects and Mites

Many of the insects and mites that are recognized as key pests of woody ornamental plants in Pennsylvania are listed in the following section. Registered chemical controls are included for most of the key pests, but a plant health care specialist should not consider this the only option for management of a pest. When indicated, other management strategies are listed for each key pest.
